    Recovery 2.0 is a grassroots project to provide a clearinghouse and co-ordination for web-based disaster prevention and recovery efforts. Ad-hoc projects after 9/11, the tsunami, and Katrina demonstrate the willingness of people to get involved. Our tasks are to help make connections between people and projects, and to encourage and publicize standards for open-source development to make that response more effective.
