Co-chaired by Sheila E and Lynn Mabry, Elevate Hope Foundation, formerly Lil' Angel Bunny Foundation, is dedicated in being a viable vehicle that will provide abused, abandoned, and severely emotionally disturbed children compassionate care by implementing an alternative method of recreational and education therapy through music and the arts, and funding special services and programs that assist the needs of these children using these fundamental methods.

Over 65 percent of our grant dollars will be invested at the local
community level. Outside financial support fills a viable niche in
light of more conservative funding offered by the federal government.
Foster care systems and outreach programs alike share the urgent
demand for funding and unite in this strong commitment to serve the
    needs of disadvantaged children.

An estimated 906,000 children across the country were victims of abuse
or neglect in 2003, according to national data released in 2005 by the
Children's Bureau of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Child protective service agencies received about 2,900,000 reports of
possible maltreatment. The statistics indicate about 12.4 out of every
1,000 children were victims of abuse or neglect. About 1,500 children
died of abuse or neglect. More than three-quarters (79 percent) of
children who were killed were younger than 4 years old; 10 percent
were 4 to 7 years old; 5 percent were 8 to 11 years old; and 6 percent
were 12 to 17 years old. Children ages birth to 3 years had the
highest rates of victimization at 16.4 per 1,000 children. Girls were
slightly more likely to be victims than boys.

Elevate Hope desires to offer essential funding needed to support community
centers, programs, and services that directly assist the epidemic of
neglected, sexually and physically abused, and abandoned children
throughout, while creating the Compassion Care Center that will assist
neighboring facilities through music and the arts.
